Requirements
  • Employment eligibility: must be authorized to work in the United States or Canada without the need for sponsorship.

  • Experience and seniority: experience as an account principal, delivery principal, engineering director, consulting director, or engineering vice president.
  • Willingness to lead and manage teams: role involves managing 4-8 team members direct reports and potentially 8-10 second-line reports.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver with excellence by executing contractual obligations, delivering deliverables, documentation, and providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Contribute to and evolve the overall strategy for the DevOps technical engagement in collaboration with leadership, Liatrio team members, and the client.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by guiding clients on technical and methodological best practices, providing strategic influence, sharing industry insight, and advocating for DevOps culture and transformational consulting to remove impediments.
  • Build, grow, and maintain Liatrio relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Architect solutions and solve complex engineering challenges in the engagement, and collaborate with Liatrio and customer team members.
  • Maintain weekly and monthly updates, executive summaries, surveys, feedback, outcomes measurement, and stakeholder check-ins.
  • Maintain resource forecast and actuals, and ensure invoice accuracy and timely submission.
  • Accountability for overall morale and well-being of the Liatrio team on the client project.
  • Coach and mentor 4-8 team members with weekly 1:1s, provide real-time feedback, support career development, and provide monthly and bi-annual formal feedback.
  • Identify and map team capabilities to client needs, advise on hiring, onboarding, and rotation to prevent burnout.
  • Support executives and sales in providing excellent customer experience, identify opportunities for expansion, promote Liatrio, and validate SOWs.
  • Leverage Liatrio intellectual property to create accelerators for future engagements.
  • Build systems using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.
  • Work with Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
  • Engage with Cloud native technologies like Kubernetes and Istio.
  • Work with Cloud providers including Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
  • Utilize Observability tools like Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, DataDog, or Zipkin.
  • Understand modern source control management systems and branching strategies.
  • Review application development code and empathize with developers across the software development lifecycle
