- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and monitoring on AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or Circle CI.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working with database management services such as Amazon RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, and RedShift.
- Detail-oriented with a proven ability to take on complex problems, break them down, and drive optimal solutions.
- A relentless curiosity and a drive for continuous improvement, coupled with a winning attitude.
- Able to work in-office at our headquarters in Downtown Dallas.
- Drive the reliability and performance of the platform through the implementation and maintenance of strong CI/CD practices, monitoring and logging systems, and incident response runbooks.
- Be a key voice in technical planning and communication.
- Document specifications and maintain development environments.
- Architect & Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Handle critical incidents on-call and participate in postmortem analysis and remediation efforts.
- Maintain SLAs and communicate with stakeholders about platform uptime and performance.
- Solve problems and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and best practices in the cloud space.
- Embody our world-class tech team and company cultures.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with data architecture, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation.
