ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for recording, processing, and reconciling Accounts Receivable (AR) related to the US Direct channel.
This role is contract-to-hire.
- Regularly monitor and follow up overdue accounts including sending reminders and initiating collection efforts as needed
- Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and investigate and resolve billing issues
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of cash receipts to customer accounts
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to assess the status of outstanding balances
- Lead and/or assist Senior Manager in meetings with Commercial
- Identify and mitigate risks associated and help develop and enforce policies and procedures related to receivables
- Assist in collecting resale certificates and other compliance documents from the customer
- Assist in financial analysis and compliance reporting (internal and external)
- Prepare and provide documentation for internal and external audits
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-3 years of accounts receivable/collections experience
- Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of ERP systems (we use Acumatica)
- Experience with Leaflink and/or Nabis a plus!
COMPENSATION
In addition to the benefits above, this role has a pay range between $60-70k. This pay range represents what we believe, in good faith, this role will pay. The final pay will depend on many factors, including years and depth of experience, level, and location of the employee. We only expect to pay the top of the range in rare and exceptional circumstances, for candidates that far exceed the requirements and expectations of the position.
