Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of documented experience in design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructor-led courseware, preferably in support of leadership training initiatives.
  • Knowledge of enterprise leadership principles and experience with strategy development and implementation.
  • Training and curriculum development expertise, and ability to ensure the design and development of new training is consistent with accepted ISD processes and standards.
  • Knowledgeable in training, coaching, and teaching in support of leadership development, guidance, and education in a national security, federal law enforcement, or U.S. military environment.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the review and development of instructor-led training products.
  • Facilitate material review with SMEs and stakeholders for assigned training products and continually monitor products for appropriateness, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Recommend improvements to existing training content and delivery, and manage configuration of courses to improve business processes and effectiveness of the agency’s training mission.
  • Draft training project plans and course design documents, develop status briefs for assigned courses, prepare agendas and document meeting minutes, and facilitate curriculum working groups.
  • Conduct initial planning and analysis through design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages.
  • Provide technical review of assigned client curriculum products for adherence to standard design, development, and evaluation principles.
  • Facilitate continued development, coordination, configuration management, and evaluation of client’s training curriculum program.
  • Propose training policies to strengthen, facilitate, and integrate executive training with on-the-job leadership training.
  • Provide recommendations on instructional strategy, course development, review work for assigned courseware products, and adhere to client’s course review schedule.
  • Works both independently as well as with a group.
  • Schedule and coordinate leadership events from start to finish.
  • Facilitate sessions on an as needed basis.
  • Ability to attend in-person sessions at least 4 times a year.
