About the opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth, renewals, and account expansion with our existing Northspyre clients. You would be an early member of our proactive and dynamic Customer Success team and have the chance to work directly with the Head of Customer Success. The objective of the Account Manager is to be a partner to our clients, working with other Customer Success team members to understand the evolving needs of our clients’ projects. The priority of this role will be maintaining an active pipeline of upsells, renewals, and account expansions. You will have meaningful conversations with our clients about the continued value of Northspyre for their projects.
Your role as Account Manager is to build relationships and make a meaningful impact on old-school real estate companies that are looking to modernize by being more data-driven and proactive in their approach to delivering real estate projects. In this role, you’ll get to
- Be responsible for leading renewal and account expansion conversations with our current customer base.
- Partner with larger clients to help broadcast successes with Northspyre and drive wider adoption.
- Assist in kickoff calls to help identify key goals and pain points with our new clients.
- Provide insights to our clients in value assessment and Quarterly Business Review meetings, focusing on areas where upsells and account expansion could benefit our clients.
- Manage upsell and renewal data in Hubspot - staying on top of renewal dates for clients.
- Work with the Head of Customer Success as a thought and strategy partner to to keep Northspyre on the cutting edge of customer success organization structure, as well as upsell and renewal processes and best practices
- Manage our clients - understanding their project outcomes leading to renewals, expansion, and advocacy across your book of business.
- Drive real revenue with a real stake and equity in a fast growing firm where your impact, growth, and success matter
- Travel as needed to visit client offices in-person. Some travel may be involved but likely no more than 1-2 days every 2-3 months (post pandemic).
We are looking for people who have
- 2+ years work experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or other account management roles.
- High energy and positive attitude. Activity and results driven.
- Experience hitting and exceeding sales quotas
- Experience with power charts, account mapping, running QBRs, and c-level value selling is highly preferred.
- Persuasive and confident speaking skills with C-level executives.
- Strong sense of initiative while being persistent with follow-up.
- Strong financial acumen related to product pricing, customer profitability and achieving sales goals
- You “sweat the small stuff” and are detail oriented, holding yourself and teammates to a high-standard
- Experience with Excel, PowerPoint or other web-based presentation technology.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related fields
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge or experience with real estate development and real estate project management.
- Experience with Hubspot or another CRM platform.
A reasonable estimate of the total compensation range for this role’s listed level is currently $90k - $180k but may vary based on local market data by region. Role levels and salary ranges take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, interview performance, skills, experience, knowledge, training and education, certifications and licenses, market data and other business needs.
This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
