Requirements
- An Associate degree in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in structural drafting and modeling using Revit is required.
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction practices is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed drawings, sketches, sections, and details in Revit.
- Collaborate with structural engineers and coordinate with architectural and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with company drafting standards and project requirements.
- Communicate with project teams and clients.
- Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and review of shop drawings.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using AutoCAD is desired.
- Familiarity with Navisworks and Bluebeam is preferred.
- Ability to visualize and model structural systems accurately in a building information modeling environment.
- Understanding of how structure interacts with architectural and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Interest in contributing to the Service Line’s BIM/CAD committee.
