  • Exceptional written communication and attention to detail.

  • Own the camera supply chain from factory to activated device by forecasting demand against the sales pipeline, managing the manufacturing partner, and ensuring hardware is delivered and activated in step with new deals.
  • Stand up the US service function by designing processes for repairs, replacements, and loaner units and defining customer uptime expectations.
  • Partner with sales on commercial terms, draft and redline customer contracts, manage outside counsel when warranted, and drive agreements through signature.
  • Design contract structures for health systems, provider groups, and independent practices, including pilots designed to convert into committed volume.
  • Secure the data rights required for the AI roadmap through contract and data-use terms.
  • Build contracting infrastructure including reusable templates, workflow tooling, signing-authority routing, and playbooks.

  • Build automation directly with AI tooling to reduce manual work in operational and contracting workflows.
Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in management consulting or investment banking.
  • Experience in a regulated industry; medical device, in vitro diagnostic, or health technology experience with a hardware component is ideal.

Yale-born fetal brain monitoring startup Wavelet secures $7M to prevent birth injuries

Wavelet Medical has secured $7 million in seed funding from Aegis Ventures to commercialise the first non-invasive, AI-powered fetal electroencephalography monitoring platform. The technology, developed at Yale, aims to detect fetal brain distress in real time and prevent avoidable brain injury at birth. Founded by Liz Golden, Dr Emily Lee and Dr Jose Cortes-Briones, Wavelet uses EEG captured through the mother's abdomen and reconstructed with AI algorithms to identify neurological distress, addressing limitations of traditional fetal heart rate monitoring, which is indeterminate in up to 85% of births. The platform targets a significant problem: over 35,000 infants suffer birth-related brain injuries annually in the US alone. Wavelet's partnership with Aegis Ventures will accelerate product development, clinical adoption and commercialisation of the technology.
