Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering
  • Professional Engineer License
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience
  • Experience working with large-scale piping, valve, pumping systems, and treatment technologies
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities
  • Experience developing detailed design plans for treatment projects
  • Experience with Biowin® or GPS-X process modeling software
  • Expertise in wastewater treatment liquid and solid processes
  • Experience in assisting with sales efforts for large scale projects
  • Active in WEF, AWWA, and/or WateReuse Association
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical planning, process / mechanical design and construction support on various water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Participate in positioning and prospecting activities with potential industrial clients
  • Prepare engineering calculations and support analysis of alternatives
  • Prepare design reports and construction plans for industrial treatment plants
  • Assist with specifications and permit submittals
  • Monitor task budget and progress
  • Conduct on-site inspections and start-up as needed
  • Prepare project status and other reports
  • Attend client, public, project and staff meetings
  • Publish and present papers at conferences
  • Maintain excellent client relations
  • Maintain a safe working environment
