Requirements
  • Hands-on field experience from previous work experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of basic information technology networking, configurations, and Internet Protocol addressing is required.
  • Ability to read architectural drawings is required.
  • Previous team management or supervisory experience is required.
  • Previous experience completing projects within scope is required.
  • Previous experience with service ticketing processes is required.
  • Previous knowledge of fire, closed-circuit television, intrusion, or emergency nurse call systems is required.
  • A valid United States driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
  • Review project quotes and scopes before beginning on-site execution.
  • Inspect installation sites and study work orders, architectural plans, and comprehensive installation methods.
  • Install low-voltage cabling, devices, and systems according to specifications, relevant codes, and industry practices, as directed by a supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with installed systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of systems as needed.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and customer inquiries.
  • Travel extensively across the Midwest and occasionally travel on weekends for multiple sites.
  • Provide customer service and maintain customer satisfaction.
