Newsweek Acquires Adprime for Health Expansion

Newsweek has acquired adtech firm Adprime to enhance its health vertical and expand ad offerings. Adprime, a demand-side platform for healthcare marketers, generated over $10 million in revenue last year. Newsweek did not disclose financial details or raise outside capital for the acquisition. This move contrasts with other publishers like Yahoo and Vox Media, who have divested adtech assets. Newsweek aims to integrate Adprime into its existing framework without distraction.
