Responsibilities
  • Design, prepare, and revise electronic batch records.
  • Support end users with electronic batch record execution and usage.
  • Manage electronic batch record design and configuration changes, process reviews, and alignment with associated continuity-plan documentation.
  • Initiate and own change controls related to documents and equipment, ensuring closure and timely implementation of changes.
  • Participate in process mapping of business processes and engage subject matter experts, leads, and operators to capture critical parameters.
  • Serve as the point of contact for electronic batch record manufacturing issues as part of the sustainment team.
  • Escalate electronic manufacturing execution issues to subject matter experts or supporting teams.
  • Apply thorough knowledge of manufacturing execution systems, recipe design, and baseline configuration; create and execute functional verification protocols.
  • Support continuous improvement and batch record changes as part of the sustainment team.
  • Follow up on BT tickets and ensure resolution of electronic batch record issues.
  • Ensure all activities comply with applicable procedures.
  • Identify deviations and exceptions and escalate them to leadership according to appropriate procedures.
  • Follow safety procedures and good manufacturing and good documentation practices.
  • Participate in an agile change environment to enhance processes, eliminate non-value-added activities, and drive continuous improvement, including support for projects and deployments.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to support, enhance, and upgrade AMPS.
  • Ensure operational compliance with current good manufacturing practices, safety requirements, and Pfizer integrity principles.
  • Assist the manager with tracking and periodic electronic batch record procedure updates and manage emergency changes appropriately.
  • Attend training for all applicable procedures according to schedule.
  • Cross-train to support all AMPS areas being deployed or sustained.

Pfizer raises 2026 guidance to $62.5B, but boost relies on Eliquis facing patent expiry

Pfizer reported second-quarter revenue of $15 billion, up 3% year over year, and raised its 2026 revenue guidance to between $60.5 billion and $62.5 billion. However, investors showed limited enthusiasm. The pharmaceutical giant's anticoagulant Eliquis, shared with Bristol Myers Squibb, generated $2.4 billion in quarterly revenue, up 21% year over year. The drug is now Pfizer's best-selling product. The concern is that Eliquis will lose patent exclusivity by the end of the decade. Pfizer raises guidance to $62.5B as BioNTech cuts forecast amid $928M loss

Pfizer and BioNTech reported contrasting second-quarter 2026 results as their post-pandemic strategies diverge.
