Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or similar; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of ten (15) years’ experience in multi-discipline EPC projects in business analysis, systems administration, project management or similar roles.
  • A majority of experience in configuration and setup of the AVEVA suite of tools (AVEVA E3D, AVEVA PID, AVEVA Instrumentation, AVEVA Engineering, or any other AVEVA toolsets)
  • Advanced understanding of EPC project and data lifecycles, advanced work packaging (AWP), engineering project information management.
  • A strong understanding of software development life cycles and business analysis and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Adept at interpreting complex data, information, and documents with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure, have crucial conversations, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Occasionally work off-hours to support users, system maintenance, jobsites, and international partners.
Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level technical support in solution configuration, implementation, maintenance, and integration.
  • Maintain a deep knowledge of the functional space in which the solution operates.
  • Apply a consultative approach to align the solution vision with business needs, best practices, and business improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze complex processes, workflows, and requirements and translate them into effective solution designs which deliver a positive user experience.
  • Engage with functional stakeholders to formulate solution design concepts, elaborate design details, and clearly document detailed solution requirements.
  • Translate design requirements into technical solution specifications.
  • Ensure alignment of understanding through documented deliverables and verbal communication.
  • Develop and be accountable to execution plans for delivering the solution designs, including resourcing, estimates, work tasks, sequencing, and schedule.
  • Translate progress of tasks and user stories into a solution delivery status relative to the functional design requirements and roadmap.
  • Ensure delivered solutions are supported and transitioned from implementation to operations.
  • Ensure the solution design optimizes data reliability, integrity, and interoperability.
  • Ensure solution delivery risks are identified, communicated, and mitigated.
  • Provide coaching and training for others to solve complex business and administrative challenges.
  • Guide and document solution standards, procedures, and workflows.
  • Shepherd software vendor relationships and direction as it relates to the respective solutions.
  • Maintain a general understanding of Zachry’s business groups, service lines, and departments.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of Enterprise Services methodologies and technologies.
  • Initiate and maintain contact with solution stakeholders for clarification, escalation, negotiation, and resolution of critical issues.
  • Facilitate project closeout activities for applicable solutions, including archival procedures in conjunction with project stakeholders.
  • Identify solution training requirements and coordinate training activities with other stakeholder groups.
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
  • Perform any other duties, activities, and projects as assigned by management.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience implementing and supporting engineering information management and design solutions for large (>$500M) EPC projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge at a system administrator level of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Civil 3D, Advanced Steel, Revit, Navisworks, Vault.
  • Comprehensive knowledge at a system administrator level of Bentley OpenPlant Modeler, Iso Manager, P&ID, OPSE, MicroStation, STAAD, ProjectWise.
  • Comprehensive knowledge at a system administrator level of Intergraph SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, SPR, Isogen, P&ID, Electrical, Instrumentation.
  • Understanding of data exchange and classification standards such as ISO15926 or CHIFOS.
  • Experience with process improvement and facilitation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps or other Agile/Scrum planning tools.
  • Project Management or Business Analyst certification

Zachry Group awarded Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for NiSource's Combined Cycle Generation Project. SAN ANTONIO-(BUSINESS WIRE)-Zachry Group (Zachry) has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract for NiSource Inc.'s Combined Cycle Generation Project, a major infrastructure project located near Wheatfield, Indiana. The facility will support NiSource's delivery of electricity to a third-party customer and includes two nominal 1,300-megawatt gas-fired combined cycle units in a 2 x 2 x 1 configuration. A subsidiary of NiSource Inc. will own and operate the facility. The EPC contract will be executed by a joint venture between Zachry Group and Quanta Services, Inc. (Quanta). Zachry will lead engineering, procurement, project management, construction planning, and commissioning, drawing on its five decades of experience designing and building over 100 gas-fired facilities totaling more than 60,000 megawatts. Quanta will contribute field-level leadership and craft workforce management through its operating companies. This collaborative approach is designed to enhance execution certainty, optimize labor resources, and deliver cost-effective, high-quality infrastructure.
