Senior Technical Program Manager
Remotely Located In Either: DMV Area (Washington D.C. / Maryland / Virginia) Or Open to considering other neighboring states
Mission: As a Program Manager within Groq’s Public Sector organization, you will apply your engineering or scientific expertise to deliver and manage new and innovative programs in support of Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers.
Responsibilities & opportunities in this role:
You will be expected to combine project management, systems engineering, and/or contract management skills with program management skills to deliver and integrate Groq hardware and software solutions to meet the customer requirements.
- Overall management of engineering tasks (software and hardware), to include all programmatic and operational requirements identified as part of the scope of work
- Act as the primary point-of-contact for contractual issues and customer relations
- Ensure practical and effective systems are in place to meet customer requirements, including but not limited to financial controls, quality control, and schedule
- Building and maintaining working relationships with high level intelligence community stakeholders and mission teams
Ideal candidates have/are:
- Experience working in the intelligence community (IC)
- Program management experience in a DoD or IC program
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Lifestyle Poly (preferred) or a willingness to obtain is required
- Expert at establishing, maintaining and developing trusting relationships
- Comfortable with ambiguity but actively focused on seeking clarity
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally not only within engineering but with mission teams/Sales as well
- Demonstrated ability to work using hybrid software and hardware methodologies, ranging from highly informal to SAFe or similar, structured methodologies
- Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts (e.g., plans, decisions, metrics, etc.) clearly, concisely, and in a timely manner
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- PMP certification is a plus

Compensation: At Groq, a competitive base salary is part of our comprehensive compensation package, which includes equity and benefits. For this role, the base salary range is $181,700 to $318,000, determined by your skills, qualifications, experience and internal benchmarks.
Location: Groq is a geo-agnostic company, meaning you work where you are. Exceptional candidates will thrive in asynchronous partnerships and remote collaboration methods. Some roles may require being located near our primary sites, as indicated in the job description.
