Responsibilities

Complete the monthly billing and revenue close process, ensuring it is completed in accordance with GAAP and company policy
Collaborate with finance team to draft technical accounting memos, maintain performance obligation matrices, and manage commissions
Assist with process improvements, including automation efforts and driving alignment with key stakeholders
Reconcile revenue data with third party data and related third party contacts, bringing closure to any discrepancies in a timely manner
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, flux analyses, and other required reporting for each close
Support forecasting efforts and ad hoc projects, as needed
Assist with the completion of the year end audit

Sure’s Revenue Accountant will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and financial operations related to billing customers and recognizing revenue.

Your role will be well-rounded, helping build cross functional operations, ensuring processes enable proper technical and management revenue reporting, and solving problems with key stakeholders.
