Requirements
  • The candidate must have executive stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills, including the ability to hold discussions with C-level stakeholders and produce written outcomes.
  • The candidate must have experience with process analysis and mapping, including current-state documentation, process-as-is versus process-as-written analysis, and workflow redesign.
  • The candidate must be able to engineer requirements for AI systems, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and evaluation design.
  • The candidate must be able to model return on investment and business cases and prioritize work under constraints.
  • The candidate must have fluency with objectives and key results or goal management sufficient to coach stakeholders.
  • The candidate must have hands-on experience with large language model tooling, including prompting, no-code or low-code prototyping, agent builders, and critical evaluation of output quality.
  • The candidate must be comfortable reading process-mining and usage data and reasoning quantitatively; SQL or spreadsheet-level analysis is sufficient.
  • The candidate must have exceptional written English.
  • The candidate must have at least four years of experience in business analysis, management consulting, process improvement, or AI or product analysis.
  • The candidate must have demonstrated experience eliciting requirements from senior stakeholders and delivering against them.
  • The candidate must have hands-on large language model or generative artificial intelligence implementation experience demonstrated by prototypes.
  • The candidate must have experience mapping and redesigning real business processes, ideally using process-mining or usage data.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working as the sole analyst on a small 2.5-full-time-equivalent delivery pod.
Responsibilities
  • Run executive distillation sessions with the Chief of Staff, Chief Investment Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operating Officer and turn each session into a written context pack containing goals, objectives and key results, key performance indicators, investment policy, reporting standards, and operating processes.
  • Elicit and validate the business semantics of the ontology with stakeholders, including definitions for commitments, decisions, priorities, and portfolio updates and conflicts between entities.
  • Specify agent skills for each executive, including scope, inputs, outputs, tone, acceptance criteria, escalation, and human-in-the-loop boundaries, and write the evaluations used to determine whether a skill is ready to ship.
  • Design the weekly alignment ritual in Slack, including objectives-and-key-results check-ins, drift detection, and an automatically assembled board master report.
  • Interpret process-mining output into a decision-ready report for each team, identifying what to automate, reorganize, or leave unchanged, with a return-on-investment estimate and recommended sequence.
  • Build quick no-code, low-code, or prompt-level prototypes to test an agent skill with an executive before engineering implementation.
  • Own adoption by observing executive usage, identifying barriers, and feeding findings into the backlog each sprint.
  • Measure payback after each automation ships and reprioritize the next wave accordingly.
  • Maintain decision records, requirement documents, and runbooks so the client team can build the remaining work independently.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of financial services or private-equity operating contexts, including investment policy, portfolio reporting, board and committee processes, or family-office structures.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence governance basics in regulated environments, including documentation, human oversight, and audit trails.
  • Knowledge of General Data Protection Regulation fundamentals as applied to employee-generated data such as email, chat, and meeting recordings.
  • Awareness of ontologies and knowledge graphs and the ability to discuss definitions with an architect.

Neurons Lab develops AI systems inspired by neuroscience, using brain-like neural networks to improve machine learning across industries. Its products simulate human cognition by modeling neural connections, enabling more efficient learning and better decision making. Unlike firms that rely on generic algorithms, Neurons Lab combines neuroscience research with AI engineering to create systems that learn more like the human brain and to explore cognition. The company’s goal is to advance machine learning while deepening our understanding of human cognition, driving real-world applications.
