Requirements
  • 3-5+ Years of Paralegal experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent)
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Understanding of business associations / corporate governance
  • Experience with Google Suite (or comparable across Powerpoint, Excel, etc)
  • Ability to work flexible hours if required
Responsibilities
  • Work directly with internal clients to finalize legal documents, working with WSL templates and based on legal team parameters. Documents may include independent contractor agreements, athlete agreements, IP licenses, and event license agreements.
  • Organizing and archiving the documents related to completed and ongoing matters
  • Manage corporate governance documents, maintain organizational charts, manage relationships with corporation service companies / registered agents
  • Managing deal flow, document execution and management. Verifying signing authority
  • Manage requesting and reviewing Certificates of Insurance
  • Liaising with Finance and other departments
  • Manage invoices from outside counsel and legal ops vendors, expense report management, light calendar management / scheduling.
  • Communicating with local government agencies.
  • Completing basic government forms such as FEIN number requests, California statements of information, city and county paperwork.
  • Internet research skills such as state corporation/llc lookups, understanding the requirements for various government forms and filings.
