  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 3 Years physician sales experience in diagnostic laboratory business (preferably in a genetics laboratory)
  • Minimum of 3 years successful key account selling / consulting experience preferably in diagnostic laboratory business.
  • Proven track record of success in developing new markets, launching new products and increasing revenue quickly.
  • Award winning sales track record.
  • Market knowledge and experience in electronic medical records and contracting within hospital systems.
  • Proven ability to effectively maneuver through complex situations, internal and external.
Responsibilities
  • Execute interdepartmental approach to remove existing barriers and open access to all Natera testing across the enterprise.
  • Drive organizational initiatives within hospital systems with a primary focus on integrations, contracting and other novel approaches to establish a deep relationship between entities.
  • Become an expert in Natera’s technology and service offerings and be able to represent the company and its business interests at the highest levels: with KOL physicians, Medical Directors, Hospital Administrators, Lab Directors and IT.
  • Develop business plans based on goals, expectations and available resources, coordinating strategies and tactics with team members across all business units.
  • Effectively work with Natera team members in order to help maximize potential business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Works with operational leaders to create and improve testing workflows and efficiencies with the goal of testing standardization for all Natera products system wide.
  • Establish positive working relationships with all key customer segments (internal and external).
  • This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.
  • Travel up to 70% to meet with customers and team members.
  • Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
  • Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.
