  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, and approval for program access
Responsibilities
  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment
  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  • Prepare manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials
  • Develop and implement security education program
  • Oversee internal security audits
  • Investigate security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken
  • Provide direction to security team members to assist with the execution of their statement of work
  • Assist with team members' professional development and growth
  • Lead a team of security professionals to ensure consistent application of the leadership characteristics that are expected of all employees within the organization
  • Ensure employee engagement across the team, Collaboration across teams within the Security organization
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development/mentoring to professionals at all levels
  • Develop and implement security policy and standards across the program enterprise
  • Ensure all program performance objectives as well as key milestones and deliverables are met
  • Support security leaderships budget within an established target
  • Manage program security compliance and operations across multiple functions, Physical Security, COMSEC, Investigations and Document Control Management
  • Other duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior compartmentalized security (SAP or SCI) experience
  • CDSE Industrial Security Training - FSO for Possessing Facilities, Intro to SAP, SAP Compliance, SAP Mid-Level, etc
  • Experience leading or mentoring other personnel in a team environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • OPSEC program experience
  • Computer and desktop office software products experience.
  • Classification review experience
