CircuitHub provides an on-demand electronics manufacturing platform that automates the production of printed circuit board (PCB) prototypes and assemblies for hardware teams, especially startups, to speed up product development from design to delivery. How it works: users upload their native CAD files to CircuitHub, which returns an instant online quote. The platform automatically handles component sourcing and matching, enabling both low-cost prototyping and batch production, scalable from a single unit up to 10,000 units. What sets it apart: tight integration with component suppliers and a software-driven workflow that streamlines the entire process, reducing lead times from weeks to days. The company's goal is to make electronics manufacturing as seamless and fast as software development by offering a single platform for design-to-delivery, from rapid prototyping to larger-scale production.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • $28 million funding supports factory expansion across Europe and the US.
  • More than 20,000 engineers and two million boards indicate traction.
  • Reshoring electronics manufacturing benefits customers seeking shorter lead times and local supply.

What critics are saying

  • Incumbent EMS giants undercut pricing once customers scale beyond prototypes.
  • China-based prototype shops keep low-volume PCB assembly cheaper for price-sensitive buyers.
  • A single factory outage or quality escape can destroy trust quickly.

What makes CircuitHub unique

  • Automated Grid factories turn PCB designs into boards in days.
  • Software handles quoting, sourcing, and assembly from uploaded CAD files.
  • It targets high-mix, low-volume production from prototypes to 10,000-unit batches.
