We are looking for a mid-level DevOps Engineer (2-5 years of experience) who is familiar with the technologies listed below, to help us rapidly build out our next generation architecture and assist with ongoing maintenance and operations. The ideal candidate would be a moderately experienced Mid who is looking to work into a senior-level role. In addition to the DevOps responsibilities this role will also work with and act as a backup to the SecOps Engineer role. The candidate is not expected to have extensive experience in the SecOps realm for this role, as the SecOps and DevOps roles will support each other with ongoing training and collaboration.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- AWS Infrastructure
- Gitlab CI/CD Pipelines
- Docker Images
- Terraform IaC
- DataDog Logging
- Documentation in Jira/Confluence/ITSM
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic experience:
- AWS: EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, IAM, KMS, WAF, VPCs, R53, CloudWatch Logs, Budget Explorer.
- Glue, Athena, Quicksight and Data Analytics platforms is a huge plus.
- Gitlab CI/CD pipelines and job definitions
- Terraform: building and deploying modules and workspaces
- Docker containers: building, deploying, and orchestrating.
- Ubuntu shell scripting and Ubuntu systems management
- Microsoft AD / AzureAD
- Apache/Nginx web servers
- Supporting applications in production.
- Some knowledge of, or desire to learn, at least one scripting language (Python, Node, Bash)
