Givebacks helps charities and socially conscious consumers raise money by providing a platform that blends donation tools and passive funding. Its main product is the Givebacks app, which lets individuals donate one-time or set up recurring giving, track their impact, and discover new causes. A key feature is passive fundraising: users automatically donate a percentage of eligible purchases from 25,000+ partner stores and restaurants to their chosen causes. The platform also offers flexible pricing on traditional fundraising tools and low fees, supported by brand partnerships in its Shop to Give program. Givebacks differentiates itself with a US-based support team and a comprehensive resource center, aiming to save time and reduce manual work for donors and nonprofits. The goal is to maximize donations and make fundraising more efficient by combining multiple methods and providing robust support for users.

Hendry County becomes first Florida district to launch unified compliance system connecting policy to practice

Hendry County Schools has partnered with Neola and Givebacks to launch Florida's first comprehensive compliance technology system, replacing disconnected policies and procedures with a unified platform. The partnership implements the "Compliance Continuum", consolidating school board policies, operational procedures and daily workflows into one ecosystem. The system provides legally vetted, Florida-specific policies from Neola alongside operational tools from Givebacks, enabling real-time compliance support across district operations. Superintendent Michael Swindle said the unified approach strengthens accountability and transparency whilst reducing ambiguity for school leaders and staff. Neola currently serves 36 of Florida's 67 county school districts. The partnership aims to transform district governance from reactive compliance to proactive leadership through integrated policy-to-practice technology.

Apptegy partners with Givebacks to integrate K-12 payments into district-branded mobile apps

Apptegy, a K-12 communications platform serving over 5,250 school districts, has partnered with Givebacks to integrate payment, ticketing and fundraising capabilities into district-branded mobile apps and websites. The collaboration addresses the challenge of managing communications and payments across disconnected systems. The partnership enables families to access payments, tickets and fundraising through a single district-branded app, whilst providing schools with real-time financial reporting dashboards and automated fee collection. Districts can deploy the payment functionality within 24 hours at no additional platform cost, with transaction-based pricing only. The integration creates what the companies call the first purpose-built K-12 platform where communication and payments coexist. Apptegy CEO Bob Butler said the partnership simplifies both payments and communication for staff and families, allowing districts to facilitate various transactions through their existing communication platform.
