Opportunity to join a high-performing team of exceptionally strong AWS Architects and Developers building new cloud-native AWS applications and driving Cloud Transformation across the organization.  Your contribution will be pivotal in transforming investment and business processes to leverage all the power of AWS to squeeze out inefficiencies, meet dynamically changing business needs and maximizing alpha generation.  As part of cloud transformation and modernization you will leverage the latest tools and technologies to deliver mission-critical system and services used across the organization. We work closely with Amazon SMEs to ensure we are developing best of class solutions for the firm.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about maximizing the business value AWS technologies can provide and ensuring a great user experience. They will be excited about AWS Serverless Architecture.  The team runs on three-week iterations with ample opportunity to both share your accomplishments and get direct feedback from system users.   All members are committed to helping each other grow both personally and professionally. Responsibilities

• Deliver quality, tested code on time and schedule.
• Participate in all agile ceremonies and peer code reviews.
• Bring new ideas, technologies, and insights to improve both application and team performance.
• Participate in architect and design sessions, evaluate tradeoffs, and influence key decisions makers.
• Evangelize adoption of the platform through quality service offering and responsiveness
• Maintain outstanding customer (Internal) relationships and coordination with other technology groups.
• Engage with users when needed to help with training, UAT, support, or troubleshooting.
• Employ best practices like continuous delivery, test automation, and containerization deployments.
• Develop new or migrate existing applications to the native AWS Platform

Qualifications

• A BA/BS in computer science
• A passion and aptitude for learning new tools and technologies.
• Three (3+) years of native AWS-based application development experience.
• In-depth experience with Lambda, SF, API Gateway, S3, Batch, Faregate, Route53, CloudWatch.
• Three (3+) years C# and Python experience working in a multi service multi-tier architecture.
• Two (2+) years’ experience with Terraform or Cloud Formation.
• Two (2+) years’ experience building resilient CI/CD pipelines with GitLab.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Microsoft .NET Core.
• Ability to effectively manage and deliver small to mid-size project initiatives independently.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal, written, and diagraming skills.
• AWS Developer Certifications (major plus)
• Experience with .VS Templates for AWS (major plus)
