Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a relevant functional discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-10+ years of related work experience.
  • Theoretical and practical understanding of the Critical Path Method of scheduling.
  • Ability to understand and accurately interpret construction documents, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and general conditions, at all levels of design.
  • Expert knowledge of Primavera Scheduling Software P6, latest version.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office software tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word.
Responsibilities
  • Independently audit general contractor Primavera P6 schedules and XER files for accuracy and conformance to client standards and project requirements.
  • Establish and maintain a national, repeatable scheduling framework, including templates, coding structures, and reporting formats.
  • Track and report critical milestones to enable client leadership to make timely, data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct baseline and progress audits at least monthly, and focused audits weekly, upon receipt of general contractor updates, or at the client's request.
  • Track OFCI equipment delivery dates and highlight problem areas while obtaining superintendent and subcontractor buy-in for solutions.
  • Run DCMA checks; compare schedules against the contractual baseline and previous period; review parallel activities and multiple float paths; identify variance drivers and risks; and recommend corrective actions.
  • Standardize L1 and L2 milestones to enable comparison across construction projects.
  • Validate that constraints are assigned only to required L1 and L2 identified milestones and ensure that the critical path is logical.
  • Translate, create, and update schedule sequences on PDF drawings for visual representation.
  • Provide professional scheduling capabilities as part of the Project Controls team to help the client accelerate speed to market.
  • Develop scheduling policies and procedures and facilitate user training for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to planning and sequencing activities from concept through commissioning.
  • Define activities and associated scope, durations, logic, interfaces between activities, and resource loading.
  • Review and analyze critical path schedules efficiently and comprehensively.
  • Develop comprehensive plans that communicate programs, projects, and strategic goals.
  • Monitor schedule performance data, develop complex data analyses, and issue schedule reports required by management and project procedures.
  • Investigate and incorporate project constraints into the planning effort.
  • Perform Time Impact Analysis and claims analysis.
  • Develop schedule variance analyses.
  • Run schedule risk scenarios using Monte Carlo and other risk analysis methods.
