Job Description
Jim Taliaferro Community Health Center (JTCMHC) is recruiting Recovery Support Specialists to work with the newly granted Hope grant and will work to cultivate community-specific partnerships that support the integration of services and supports for women with substance abuse issues and their families. These positions will coordinate daily activities of the grant and collaborate with local community partners. JTCMHC is seeking a Lead Recovery Support Specialist, Senior Recovery Support Specialist, and a Certified Recovery Support Specialist for this grant. Grant funded position for a period of 3 years. Afterwards, they will be sustained through billing and state funding.

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer addition compensation for working outside of normal business hours! Below is the list of shift differential pay that you can use to boost your hourly pay rate. You can also stack your shift differential pay. For example, working nights on the weekends earns you an extra $6.00 an hour!
Evening/Nights - extra $0.50/hr.
Weekends – extra $0.75/hr.
Holidays – extra $0.75/hr.
On-call - $1.00/hr
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Lead Certified Recovery Support Specialist:This position requires that the application be currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, high school diploma or GED, demonstrates personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery, and four years of PRSS experience.
Senior Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist: This position requires that the application be currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, high school diploma or GED, demonstrates personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery, and two years of PRSS experience.
Certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist:This position requires that the application be currently certified as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist, high school diploma or GED, and demonstrates personal knowledge in advocacy in recovery.

About us:Jim Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center in Lawton, OK is a community-based center with a primary focus on mental health and substance abuse treatment. The inpatient and outpatient services they provide include special groups and programs for adolescents, persons with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders, seniors and older adults, women, men, and criminal justice groups.
Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing: Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs. Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY. EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
