About the Role
The Miro Product Marketing team is seeking an Agile Product Evangelist to join our mission of empowering teams to build the next big thing. As a member of our Product Evangelist team, you will become the face of Miro’s brand for agile frameworks and practices with customers, online communities, and on social media. You will drive awareness and adoption of our Agile solutions for product and service development leaders and partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product at Miro to bring insights from the community into Miro and to share your passion for our product and mission with the world. As a customer-facing position, this evangelist will help to build and deliver content in various forms such as demonstrations, videos, blog posts, podcasts, and presentations.
We’re looking for a creative and self-motivated team member who has a passion for helping EPD leaders work more efficiently through visual collaboration software. You will bring empathy, humility, and a continuous learning mindset every day.
About the Team
Miro’s Product Marketing team is responsible for crafting Miro’s story. We build compelling, insight-led positioning and messaging, develop and deliver impactful go-to-market strategies, and champion customers throughout the product development process. Our team partners closely with many functions at Miro, including Product Management, Design, Engineering, Sales, Success, Support, Growth, and Brand.
Successful Product Marketers at Miro think like general managers of their area: flexible but constantly seeking mastery, with strong customer empathy, creative problem-solving ability, research, synthesis, and analytical skills. We regularly shift from high-level strategy to tactical marketing execution, with a bias towards personal accountability and action.
What you’ll do
- Work directly with prospects and customers, delivering compelling executive presentations, product demos, and discussions to drive adoption and expansion of Miro for agile rituals within our top accounts
- Establish yourself as a voice of authority in the visual collaboration category
- Gain peer and industry recognition as a regular attendee and speaker at meetups and conferences, and writer on forums, blogs, social media, etc. to share information to and capture feedback from the broader agile community
- Stay ahead of Miro’s product capabilities and evangelize best practices to the Design community
- Work within our team to drive internal understanding of the role Agile plays in organizational success and educate on key use cases and behaviors
- Provide feedback from agile and product leaders to our product and engineering teams to improve Miro and drive our roadmap
What you’ll need
- An SME in the field, with 10+ years proven experience and a clear understanding of Agile practices
- Knowledgeable of the latest mobile, web, and social media technologies
- Comfortable speaking to large audiences, with strong presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: ability to deliver demos, write compelling blog posts, and communicate content to executive, sales, and technical audiences
- Willingness to travel to meet-ups, conferences, and related industry events
- High energy, enthusiasm, and passion for building valuable resources and successful communities.
