What believers are saying

  • Federal sector expansion via Everett Lott and Normand Landry positions EXP for infrastructure spending surge.
  • Latin America entry under Orlando Rodríguez captures emerging markets demand for engineering and design services.
  • Climate, Resilience + Sustainability service line aligns with global regulatory and ESG investment tailwinds.

What critics are saying

  • Aggressive hiring (30+ Dallas engineers) without visible revenue growth creates fixed-cost burden if demand softens.
  • Federal revenue concentration exposes EXP to budget cuts and political shifts post-2026 U.S. elections.
  • Leadership succession gap—Mark Dvorak departure would disrupt international, federal, and Latin America expansion initiatives.

What makes EXP unique

  • Multidisciplinary platform integrating engineering, architecture, design, and consulting across 100+ offices globally.
  • Proprietary geomatics capabilities—GIS, remote sensing, CAD, survey—reduce client complexity and costs systematically.
  • Heritage since 1906 with specialized expertise in lighting design, federal infrastructure, and sustainability solutions.
