Lead Project Manager

We are looking for a Lead Project Manager in Laurel, MD.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the oversight of all construction efforts at a large project site. Designated site lead for the project team. 
• Provide direction to the team, coordinates schedules and workload
• Perform all project management tasks
• Day-to-day project management for construction and service projects
• Coordination with customers, schedule review and design review
• Develop solutions to construction problems or existing conditions encountered in the field
• Review contractor submittals for contract performance
• Provide aid throughout the acquisition phases of projects including: answering offeror questions, attending/participating in site orientation visits, attending/participating in joint contractor/gov't meetings
• Draft technical responses to any change orders
• Prepare statement of work and cost estimate for new contracts and contract modifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years project management work experience on commercial or government constructions projects.
• PMP or other project management certificate
• Must have active Secret Clearance - Required
