- A High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Pharmacy Technician licensure is required, or the employee must be eligible to obtain licensure within six months of employment.

- Demonstrate initiative and independence in assigned workloads when necessary.
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician certification is preferred.
- Hospital or institutional pharmacy experience is preferred.
