Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, supporting business applications
  • Foundational understanding of accounting & finance domains
  • Experience in designing & implementing finance systems full cycle: (e.g. analyze, design, build, test, implement, and support.)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
  • Proven ability to think critically and creatively to address complex challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts, systems, and tools. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and environments.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Experience working with Tier 2 ERPs (e.g. Workday Financials, Netsuite, etc)
  • Experience working with Finance applications (e.g. Salesforce, Navan, Zip, Expensify etc)
  • Experience working with Project Management/Ticketing tools (e.g. Freshservice, Monday.com, JIRA, Zendesk etc)
  • Must be based remotely in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first line of support for accounting teams, addressing system-related inquiries and troubleshooting issues.
  • Translate accounting needs into system requirements, configure financial systems, and customize reports to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to support and drive key projects aimed at transforming and improving financial systems and processes while ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Assist or lead in the planning, execution, testing, and tracking of finance-related projects.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Engage with both functional and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and translate them into clear and actionable plans.
  • Ensure alignment between project objectives and business goals.
  • Understand current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and propose technology-driven improvements.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for projects, processes, and systems.
  • Communicate findings, progress, and recommendations clearly and effectively to all levels of the organization.
