Internship Program

At Five9 we are committed to providing an exceptional experience for our interns.  We tailor our program to provide participants with real, impactful work, contributing directly to the continued success of Five9.  Through our Speaker Series and Events, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn from some of the best in the business.

The is a full time, paid internship based out of our headquarters in San Ramon, CA.  The program runs 12 weeks with the opportunity to start in late May or early June.

The Team

The Workforce Optimization team aims to provide, outstanding customer experiences in delivery of the two WFO product families sold directly (Five9 WFO and Verint).  It does this by leverage extensive depth of team subject-matter expertise to help customers identify, design, and execute use-cases for WFO products that will streamline their business processes, optimize their approach to staffing, and improve the quality of their customer experiences.  The practice is comprised WFO Project Managers, WFO Consultants, WFO Platform Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Be an active member of the WFO PM Organization and will support our effort to enhance our PM methodology, coordinating across multiple teams.
• The Intern will assist the wider WFO team in facilitating Five9’s Project Management Methodology and practices to help coordinate all phases of the WFO implementation.
• The WFO PM team is in the process of reviewing it strategic processes and transitioning to a new Monday.com based PM model.  The intern will have a chance to contribute and work on these strategic change initiatives. 
• Process mapping and redesign 
• Maintaining and updating process documentation  
• Attending / shadowing project meeting
• Supporting strategic change initiatives 

Qualifications

• Rising college senior or above, pursuing an undergrad degree in Business or Project Management.
• Must be able to work out of the San Ramon, CA headquarters this summer.

Desired:

• Experience with Monday.com
• Experience with or understanding of WFO principles.
