Solugen produces essential molecules using enzymes, which are proteins that accelerate chemical reactions. Their main product, the Bioforge, is a carbon-negative molecular manufacturing platform that removes more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than it emits, making it environmentally friendly. Solugen serves various industries, including medicine, green building materials, water treatment, food safety, personal care, and bioplastics, by providing sustainable and non-toxic ingredients. The Bioforge technology combines fermentation and traditional petrochemical processing to create valuable molecules from inexpensive feedstocks like corn syrup, allowing for cost-effective production with minimal waste. Solugen differentiates itself from competitors by focusing on sustainability and scalability in its production process. The company's goal is to lead the market in green and sustainable chemistry by expanding its operations and developing more environmentally friendly products.
