Solugen produces essential molecules using enzymes, which are proteins that accelerate chemical reactions. Their main product, the Bioforge, is a carbon-negative molecular manufacturing platform that removes more carbon dioxide from the atmosphere than it emits, making it environmentally friendly. This technology combines fermentation and traditional petrochemical processing to create valuable molecules from inexpensive feedstocks like corn syrup. Solugen serves various industries, including medicine, green building materials, water treatment, food safety, personal care, and bioplastics, by providing sustainable and non-toxic ingredients. Unlike competitors, Solugen's focus on enzyme-based production and its ability to scale while minimizing waste sets it apart. The company's goal is to lead the market in green and sustainable chemistry by offering cost-effective, eco-friendly solutions.
