Requirements
  • An active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) License by the MT State Board.
  • Prescriptive Authority by the MT state board of Nursing or Medical Examiners and DEA License.
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS Certification within 6 months of employment (site specific).
  • Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically within a multi-functional team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience as a provider in Emergency Medicine preferred but open to new grad Emergency Nurse Practitioners.
  • Passion for rural Emergency Medicine.
Responsibilities
  • work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience
  • practice as the sole provider in the ED
  • connect with resource connections with St. Vincent Regional Hospital and other Intermountain Health hospitals
  • collaborate with a general surgeon and full surgical team on call 24/7
  • maintain close relationships with Hospitalist and ICU teams
