Responsibilities
  • Delivering a best-in-class magazine every month that works for readers and advertisers, and is produced on time and to budget.
  • Developing and improving existing content to keep the magazine fresh and exciting.
  • Working closely with online counterparts to ensure content from the magazine is used efficiently and effectively online, and vice versa.
  • Leading the editorial process, ensuring it runs effectively and efficiently, ensuring standards are met and issues are addressed.
  • Having a vision for the magazine and working with the vertical management team to shape that vision into a long-term editorial strategy.
  • Identifying trends within the market and reacting to market conditions in a timely and appropriate way.
  • Working with art staff to ensure design standards are met and satisfy reader needs.
