  • PhD in Cell or Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant research experience in industry or academia
  • Expertise with CRISPR gene editing and lentiviral transduction workflows, cell engineering and cell culture
  • Experience developing/optimizing gene editing protocols
  • Experience analyzing mammalian cells by flow cytometry for target surface expression
  • Experience with Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS)
  • Entrepreneurial behaviors demonstrated by agility, accountability, transparency, resourcefulness, and ability to get things done
  • Ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity, and deliver high-quality results

Responsibilities
  • Lead a group of scientists that provides centralized support for cell line generation
  • Lead the development, application and optimization of new technologies for modifying the genomes of mammalian cells
  • Employ strategies for the genetic modification of cell lines
  • Lead activities in generating and maintaining master and working cell bank inventories across a portfolio of engineered cell lines
  • Lead analysis and QC processes on cell lines at the DNA and protein level
  • Provide expert support for cell line engineering experiment design and assay development to the broader scientific team
  • Coordinate tasks across multiple projects, demonstrating prioritization and planning
  • Interpret and effectively execute experiments in line with project timelines and goals
  • Maintain familiarity with current literature related to the scope of ArsenalBio’s research focus
  • Mentor scientists within the group in areas of technical expertise
