Responsibilities
  • Oversee and maintain all aspects of building operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, security, landscaping, and custodial services.
  • Manage facility-related vendors and service contracts, ensuring high-quality performance and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with EHS, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, local codes).
  • Lead space planning, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades with a focus on accessibility, functionality, and sustainability.
  • Track and manage budgets for facilities operations, projects, and capital improvements.
  • Respond promptly to urgent facility issues and implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Serve as site lead for facilities-related audits and inspections.
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and well-maintained work environment that reflects Medtronic’s values and mission.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a medical device, biotech, or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments.
  • Working knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and facility safety standards.
  • Proven experience managing contractors, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), LEED Accreditation, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience with sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs.
  • Proficiency in CMMS systems, AutoCAD, or building management systems (BMS).
