  • Must complete FEMA Courses ICS-100 and ICS-700 within 30 days of Hire Date
  • A good knowledge of command centers, fire alarm panels, surveillance tools and event security equipment used in event production
  • Skill in the techniques of handling the tools and event equipment used in a variety of events and shows
  • Must be able to verbally communicate with the general public, clients, co-workers and management
  • Should also possess written communication skills and some computer skills
  • Must have excellent organizational skills
  • Must have the ability to work with management, employees, clients and the public
  • Should be able to work from CAD drawings and event checklists
  • Should also have the ability to make quick decisions with regards to safety and security
  • Lift up to 10lbs and occasionally lift and/or moving up to 25lbs
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
  • Input data into the company computer platform to keep each customer record updated
  • Answer incoming customer phone calls and take appropriate action for each call
  • Report any hazardous conditions or emergency situations to management, follow safety precautions, and log in book
  • Responsible for desk coverage until replacement arrives
  • Use company policies to determine if there can be an immediate resolution to a customer issue or if that issue requires managerial input
  • Works closely with clients and the general public and represents the facility in communicating building policies with clients regarding safety and security, move in/out, and over all facility policies
  • Must understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries, possess effective interpersonal skills
  • Keeps the Safety and Security Manager informed of day-to-day activities
  • Responsible for cleaning, minor maintenance, and proper storage of all operational and security equipment for the department

  • Be alert at all times and log in any occurrences during shift

  • Responsible for desk coverage until replacement arrives

  • Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds

Legends Global Acquires ASM for $2.3B

Legends has rebranded as Legends Global after acquiring ASM Global in 2024 for over $2.3 billion.
