Job Description Summary
The Sleep and Anxiety Treatment and Research Division (SATRD) within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time faculty member to provide evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide spectrum of sleep, anxiety or mood disorders, including common co-morbid sensory processing conditions (tinnitus, eating, smell & taste disturbances). Job Description
The Sleep and Anxiety Treatment and Research Division (SATRD) within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, SC is seeking a full-time faculty member to provide evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide spectrum of sleep, anxiety or mood disorders, including common co-morbid sensory processing conditions (tinnitus, eating, smell & taste disturbances). This position requires a clinician scientist who will see patients, supervise trainees and participate in program activities (e.g., journal clubs, case conferences).
There is a strong emphasis within the SATRD on research. Therefore, the appropriate candidate would be eligible for a research package. The faculty member reports to the Director, Sleep & Anxiety Treatment & Research Division.
FLSA: Exempt
Work Schedule: Full Time, 40 Hours Per Week
Minimum Requirements: Must hold a terminal degree (M.D., Ph.D. or related). Must have a valid SC Medical Psychologist license.
