Freedom Consulting Group is seeking a Software Developer for one of our PRIME CONTRACTS that extends through 2026 and offers exciting opportunities to support essential services and mission critical activities across the enterprise. Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. . Join a team providing full life cycle support to the Human Resource Applications and Services organization
. Primary responsibility will be providing application development and production support
. Develop and implement innovative approaches to improve system sustainment to proactively identify and correct potential issues before outages occur
. The position will require working in a fast-paced team in an agile environment and a willingness to take on challenges to creatively solve customer requirement problem sets
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and six (6) years of experience in software development/engineering. Ten (10) years of experience in software development/engineering may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in one of the following JavaScript frameworks: Angular, Vue, React, with the willingness and ability to pivot to one of the others
- Experience creating and consuming RESTful endpoints
- Experience setting up and maintaining Linux environments
- Willingness to learn modern technologies
- Working understanding on SQL and/or NoSQL databases
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with GitLab
- Experience with GitLab runners for continuous Integration
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Experience with automated integration and unit testing scripts
- Experience with Docker
- Experience with Ansible
- Working knowledge of accessibility standards (ADA Section508 compliance)
