Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 to 12 years of experience working in a professional services or IT consulting firm, including leading technical delivery teams and managing senior client stakeholders.
  • Deep, hands-on experience deploying production-grade multi-agent frameworks, LLM-backed reasoning loops using Gemini, and autonomous workflows.
  • Expert-level familiarity with the Vertex AI suite, including Agent Engine, Agent Development Kit, Tuning, and Vector Search.
  • Familiarity with hardened enterprise Google Cloud Platform security architectures, including VPC Service Controls, Identity and Access Management, and Pub/Sub.
  • Advanced backend proficiency in Go (Golang), with a strong background in highly concurrent, distributed, and event-driven systems.
  • Experience operating within highly regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or the public sector, including data compliance, deterministic auditing, and strict security perimeters.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert on Generative AI, LLM reasoning patterns, and autonomous agent frameworks for professional services and enterprise clients.
  • Translate complex business requirements from client stakeholders into rigorous technical blueprints, leading pre-sales technical discoveries and high-level architectural assessments.
  • Establish delivery playbooks and reusable patterns to standardize deployment of agentic workflows across different client industries.
  • Own the technical vision for the core Go harness pattern, leveraging the Vertex AI Agent Development Kit to build a robust, production-ready framework for agents.
  • Lead detailed design specifications for agents, including structural tool definitions through Function Calling, systemic prompt engineering, and input-context data models.
  • Define graduated-autonomy criteria that balance autonomous agent execution with human-in-the-loop exception handling.
  • Establish distributed-systems patterns, including strict idempotency strategies and canonical event envelopes across bounded contexts.
  • Design and implement a continuous shadow-mode evaluation harness to validate agent performance against live production data without triggering real-world side effects.
  • Set precision and recall thresholds and safety-critical misclassification test suites required for production graduation.
  • Partner with the client’s Agent Governance Board to advise on service-oriented architecture tier classifications, model-version-pinning strategies, and continuous model and drift monitoring.
  • Oversee or directly build the initial shadow-mode proof of concept for the first designated agent to accelerate project kickoff.

Ollion is a global cloud consultancy that delivers professional and managed services to help enterprises transform their IT, apps, and data using public cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). It supports the full cloud lifecycle from strategy and planning to engineering, migration, and ongoing management, and it also builds open-source tools like Code Pipes and Data Pipes to complement its services. Ollion differentiates itself through its scale, end-to-end approach, focus on cloud economics and governance, and a collaborative model that aims to upskill client teams to run cloud environments independently. Its goal is to deliver fast, measurable value from cloud adoption and help large brands achieve sustainable digital transformation.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • AWS selected Ollion for Experience-Based Acceleration in December 2025, validating delivery quality.
  • Ollion still reported 17 active jobs in 2026, showing selective hiring and ongoing demand.
  • Its services align with enterprise AI, cloud migration, and modernization spending priorities in 2026.

What critics are saying

  • Revelio data shows headcount fell from 647 in 2023 to 370 in March 2026.
  • That 42.8% workforce collapse signals integration strain and margin pressure after the 2023 merger.
  • If major clients like Hearst or SCOR rationalize vendors, Ollion loses scale and credibility fast.

What makes Ollion unique

  • Frank Castora became Global CEO in November 2025, signaling a sharper consulting reset.
  • Ollion combines cloud strategy, modernization, and managed services across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Its open-source Code Pipes, Data Pipes, and Stance deepen stickiness beyond billable consulting.
