  • 5 Years with a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study; 3 Years with a Master's Degree, or 1 Years with a PhD Degree or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree (Principal Software Engineer)
  • Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • U.S. Citizen and Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP)
  • 2 Years software development experience using C/C++
  • 2 Years of experience with Agile, Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket and working in cross-functional Scrum team
  • 2 Years of experience leading Software Engineering teams with the ability to team plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning
  • 2 Years of with software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance
  • 8 Years with a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field of study; 6 Years with a Master's Degree, or 4 Years with a PhD Degree or 4 additional years in lieu of a degree (Senior Principal Software Engineer)
  • 5 Years software development experience using C/C++
  • 5 Years of experience with Agile, Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket and working in cross-functional Scrum team
  • 5 Years of experience leading Software Engineering teams with the ability to team plan, execute, and manage the technical scope, and support leadership planning
  • 5 Years of with software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance
Responsibilities
  • Developing Software Test Tools
  • Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
  • Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
  • Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
  • Ensures software standards are met
