Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement Marvell’s data governance strategy, creating policies, standards, and processes that ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Establish and lead the Data Governance Committee, aligning stakeholders across business units to drive cohesive data practices and oversight.
  • Create data stewardship programs, defining roles and responsibilities to promote data ownership and accountability.
  • Oversee data quality initiatives, implementing robust data validation, profiling, and cleansing practices that support reliable and accurate data.
  • Establish guidelines and tools for data lifecycle management, including metadata management, master data management, and data cataloging.
  • Collaborate with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure data privacy and security standards are met, in alignment with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
  • Implement policies to safeguard sensitive and confidential data, managing access control and ensuring compliance with internal and external privacy standards.
  • Drive data literacy and awareness across Marvell, creating training programs that empower employees to understand and uphold data governance principles.
  • Develop educational resources and workshops to help teams integrate data governance practices into their workflows effectively.
  • Partner with data engineering and IT to embed data governance tools and processes into Marvell’s data infrastructure, facilitating easy access to governed data.
  • Lead the adoption of governance technology platforms, ensuring scalable solutions for data cataloging, lineage tracking, and policy enforcement.
