Requirements
  • A high school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education is required.
  • Six to eight years of experience in the wireless telecommunications industry is required.
  • Two to four years of supervisory experience is required.
  • General site construction and minor electrical experience are required.
  • The ability to operate equipment such as excavators and skid steers is required.
  • The candidate must have or obtain and maintain an OSHA Construction 10-hour Safety Training Card.
  • The candidate must have or obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
  • The candidate must have or obtain and maintain RF Radiation Safety & Awareness certification.
  • Computer and Microsoft Office proficiency are required.
  • Anritsu Site Master Certification is required.
  • The ability to install remote radio heads is required.
  • The ability to read plans, blueprints, and diagrams is required.
  • Basic mathematical and calculation ability is required.
  • The candidate must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The candidate must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The candidate must be able to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
  • The candidate must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug testing.
  • The candidate must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise general construction activities on wireless cell tower sites, including site layout, foundation work, grounding, conduit and fiber installation, general landscaping, and applicable electrical installations.
  • Provide leadership to the crew from project start through completion while ensuring safety and quality standards, budget, and timelines are followed.
  • Review build documentation, assemble necessary materials, and determine required installation methods.
  • Supervise on-site inventory and materials tracking, and refresh project supplies as needed.
  • Sweep and PIM test coaxial lines and fiber according to customer specifications.
  • Collect, review, and submit on-site closeout documentation within deliverable timelines.
  • Identify staff improvement areas and make training recommendations to management.
  • Maintain tool inventory and daily job-site upkeep.
  • Ensure the crew completes all required company documentation.
