- An Associate or Bachelor degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is required.
- ARDMS or ARRT Sonography certification is required.
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- Adhere to Massachusetts Department of Public Health, The Joint Commission, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act standards.
- Follow infection control and patient safety guidelines.
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, including abdominal, vascular, and soft tissue examinations.
- Conduct portable and bedside imaging for patients with limited mobility.
- Safely position and assist patients with physical or cognitive impairments.
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate electronic medical record documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and therapy teams.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and privacy standards.
- Inpatient or rehabilitation experience.
