- Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience needed to meet required functional competencies as listed on the job description
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Allina Health required within 90 days
- Participates in Operating Room turnover
- Cleans/decontaminates Anesthesia equipment after each use
- Replaces/restocks anesthesia related items
- Restocks anesthesia carts
- Engages in safe handling of gas cylinders and other supplies
- Performs quality control checks
- Monitors for outdated supplies and equipment
- Performs daily operation test of defibrillator machines and crash carts/emergency equipment
- Checks oxygen cylinders on patient carts
- Informs appropriate source regarding equipment or supply concerns
- Makes suggestions for workflow or other improvements
- Participates in orientation of new staff
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous health care experience
