View

Bantam Communications helps accelerate the deployment of advanced energy infrastructure in the United States. It partners with developers, investors, coalitions, and mission-aligned institutions to navigate permitting, build community support, and shape policy. The firm uses a campaign-style approach that blends strategic planning, data-driven insights, and on-the-ground community engagement to move projects from concept to completion, offering services such as project advocacy, political campaign management, stakeholder engagement, research and intelligence, and strategic planning. It leads SOURCE, a national initiative that unites advocates and industry partners to back local renewable energy campaigns, and operates fully remote with a mission-driven culture to build public trust and social license for faster clean energy deployment.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Growing demand for transmission, storage, and renewables expands addressable campaigns.[2][8]
  • Repeatable community-benefits and rapid-response playbooks improve project approval odds.[3][8]
  • SOURCE and mission-aligned clients create durable coalition-driven revenue.[2][3]

What critics are saying

  • Local anti-project organizing directly delays approvals and reduces billable work.[3][8]
  • Large agencies and in-house teams can commoditize its niche service mix.[3][12]
  • Senior-staff departures materially weaken delivery in a 10-50 person firm.[4][7]

What makes Bantam Communications unique

  • Specializes in advanced energy public affairs, not generic communications.[2][3]
  • Combines permitting strategy, community engagement, and policy shaping for deployment.[2][8]
  • Uses digital-first stakeholder campaigns and proprietary knowledge hubs.[7][8]
