- Building and delivering a comprehensive transaction fraud strategy for the debit card portfolio
- Making key product decisions on the design of the in-house authorization decision engine and transaction authorization experience
- Building out the data model and features needed for transaction fraud risk scoring across monetary and non-monetary data attributes from both internal and external sources
- Building out of the fraud prevention rule-based strategy and model
- Delivering a loss optimization and customer experience optimization framework
- Ensuring forward looking solutions are in place to prevent future losses (e.g. 3DS, InApp Notification)
- Maintaining fraud loss rates within the financial plan and continuously reducing loss rates over time
- Partnering with the disputes team to prevent abuse and improve recovery rates
- Leading and developing a team of strategy analysts responsible for strategy development and optimization

- Deep industry knowledge and subject matter expertise in Transaction Fraud (Debit or Credit)
- Knowledge of MasterCard data attributes, Decision Intelligence, and Fraud Resolution Manager
- Knowledge of networks, payment gateways, core billing systems, and chargeback systems
- Knowledge of key fraud controls needed for a successful program
- Analytics required for delivery of a comprehensive optimization framework

- As part of the Transaction Fraud team, your mandate is to minimize transaction fraud losses while optimizing the customer experience. You will be responsible for leading the build out and integration of the best-in-class transaction fraud platform, core capabilities, and strategies. You will work closely with the product, platform, data science, operations, and analytics teams to bring the authorization experience to life via fraud risk models, rules, and manual procedures. You will be responsible for hiring, growing, and training the ONE transaction fraud team. This role reports to the Head of Fraud
