Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
  • At least five years of cloud engineering experience, including at least three years focused on Microsoft Azure in production environments, is required.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure core services, including compute, storage, networking, identity, and platform-as-a-service offerings, is required.
  • Production-level experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates is required.
  • Experience designing and operating Azure Kubernetes Service clusters at scale is required.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for continuous integration and continuous delivery across infrastructure and applications is required.
  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, and Python, including the ability to write maintainable automation code, are required.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and compliance frameworks is required.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, and observability strategies across distributed workloads is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills are required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification is preferred.
  • Experience operating hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud environments spanning Azure and on-premises infrastructure is preferred.
  • Familiarity with service-mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd on Azure Kubernetes Service is preferred.
  • Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost-management tooling is preferred.
  • Experience with regulated environments such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP is preferred.
