Wealth Enhancement has taken over the investment advisory business of Servo Wealth Management, an RIA in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed. Servo Wealth Management was established in 2012 by Eric Nelson. The business oversees more than $210m in client assets. Nelson said: "For my clients, joining the Equius Team at Wealth Enhancement is about bringing on the support and wealth management capabilities necessary to serve them through all stages of life. "For me, personally, it's also about reuniting with a team that was instrumental in helping me develop and grow as a financial advisor. This isn't simply a business transaction; it's about coming home." The Oklahoma-based company offers investment advice, financial planning and wealth counselling to individuals and families. Its client base includes physicians, attorneys, executives, small business owners and retirees. Before setting up Servo Wealth Management, Nelson worked at Equius Partners in Northern California. The deal links Nelson again with the Equius Team, which became part of Wealth Enhancement in 2023. Wealth Enhancement CEO Jeff Dekko said: "Eric has spent decades helping clients make thoughtful decisions with their long-term success in mind. He's earned the trust of generations of families and has been a steady presence as markets have changed. "We're excited to welcome Eric and his clients to Wealth Enhancement and build on the relationships he's established over the years." Last month, the Financial Times reported that Carlyle and Bain Capital are competing to acquire Wealth Enhancement in a deal that could value the wealth management company at roughly $7bn, including debt. The company has been put up for sale by its private equity owners, TA Associates and Onex. Give your business an edge with its leading industry insights.

Nelson said joining Wealth Enhancement provides clients with enhanced support and wealth management capabilities whilst allowing him to reconnect with colleagues who shaped his advisory approach. The transaction closed on 15 August 2026.
Wealth Enhancement snaps up Weinand Financial. Led by financial planner Mike Weinand alongside four support professionals, the firm oversees more than $644m in client assets. Wealth Enhancement has agreed to take over the investment advisory operations of Weinand Financial, a registered investment adviser based in Olympia, Washington. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Led by financial planner Mike Weinand alongside four support professionals, the firm oversees more than $644m in client assets. Established in 1991, Weinand Financial offers financial planning across retirement and investment matters, reviews of private and public pensions, retirement plan support, and insurance-related advice. The firm holds specific focus in assisting clients nearing retirement, particularly Washington State public employees handling retirement and pension options. Mike Weinand said: "Wealth Enhancement gives us the ability to bring more resources to the table without losing the personal relationships that have defined our firm. It's an opportunity to strengthen what we offer clients today while building for the future." As of 31 July 2026, Wealth Enhancement and its registered investment adviser, Wealth Enhancement Advisory Services, reported $160.1bn in client assets. Weinand Financial had about $644m in client assets as of 11 August 2026. "For more than 35 years, he and his team have been a steady partner to the individuals, families, and businesses they serve. The acquisition of Weinand Financial in Olympia, Wash., is Wealth Enhancement’s 12th deal to close this year.
Wealth Enhancement extends acquisition streak with Washington state deal. Mike Weinand, head of Weinand Financial in Olympia, Washington. The Olympia, Washington firm's retirement planning expertise reinforces the consolidator's growth momentum to exceed $160 billion in client assets. AUG 18, 2026 Wealth Enhancement has added another registered investment advisor to its growing roster, announcing this week that it has acquired the investment advisory business of Weinand Financial. The deal to acquire the independent firm based in Olympia, Washington, that manages more than $644 million in client assets brings Wealth Enhancement's total client assets to more than $160.7 billion. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Weinand Financial was founded in 1991 and is led by Mike Weinand, a certified financial planner, alongside a team of four support professionals. The firm has built its practice around retirement and investment planning, pension review for private and public plans, and insurance guidance, with particular depth in helping Washington State employees navigate pension and retirement benefits. "We've spent more than three decades building Weinand Financial around the needs of our clients, and we were very intentional about what the next chapter should look like," Weinand said in a statement on Tuesday. "Wealth Enhancement gives us the ability to bring more resources to the table without losing the personal relationships that have defined our firm." Wealth Enhancement chief executive Jeff Dekko said the acquisition reflects the durability of the practice Weinand has built. "Mike has built a long-standing practice grounded in trusted client relationships," Dekko said. "We're excited to welcome them to Wealth Enhancement and support the next chapter of the practice." Jim Cahn, the firm's chief strategy officer, said the deal deepens Wealth Enhancement's foothold in the Pacific Northwest, calling the addition of Weinand's retirement-planning expertise a meaningful complement to the company's regional capabilities. The Weinand deal is the latest in a string of acquisitions staged by the Minnesota-based mega-RIA this summer. In late July, Wealth Enhancement made its Alabama debut by acquiring Cloud Investments, a Huntsville-based firm managing roughly $462 million in assets and built largely around clients tied to the region's aerospace and defense sector. Days later, it added Miramar Capital, a Northbrook, Illinois firm overseeing about $592 million in assets under the leadership of dividend-growth investors Bob Kalman and Max Wasserman. Nearly all of that expansion has come through acquiring independent advisory practices rather than organic growth - a strategy that has taken the firm wildly beyond the $11.8 billion in client assets it oversaw when TA Associates first invested in 2019. That exponential growth appears to be turning heads among even bigger names in the private equity space. Last month, reports arose of a PE bidding war to acquire Wealth Enhancement, with Carlyle Group and Bain Capital reported to be the final contenders in a process valuing it at roughly $7 billion including debt. That deal, if it comes to fruition, would rank among the largest ever struck involving an independent RIA platform.
