Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of security experience with at least 4 years in vendor security risk management.
  • Experience conducting security audits of vendors.
  • Experience managing and improving vendor security risk programs.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security controls across all domains.
  • General understanding of key technical security controls.
  • Familiarity with vendor security questionnaires for third party assessments.
  • Knowledge of security regulations and standards such as SOC 2, PCI, ISO 27001, etc.
  • Experience working effectively across different teams within an organization.
  • Experience working with Legal Teams on vendor contracts.
  • Hands-on experience with BitSight or other vendor security monitoring software preferred.
  • Experience classifying vendors by criticality and security risk preferred.
  • Experience with Jira preferred.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Performing vendor security reviews.
  • Maintaining and improving the vendor security risk management program.
  • Updating security language in vendor contracts.
  • Mature the classification and management of critical vendors.
  • Benchmarking and managing vendor security risk program maturity improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining vendor security risk management program metrics for reporting.
