  • BA or BS degree from a top-ranking university in accounting, business administration, or economics required
  • CPA track preferred
  • Advanced Excel Skills required
  • Netsuite, Bill.com, and Paylocity experience preferred
  • Top-level critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and exceptionally organized
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think through complex problems, determine proper processes, and derive accounting conclusions, and present results to the team
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage projects/tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be a team player, and ability to work well in both In-Person & Remote work environments
  • Assist Payroll team with payroll processing, help with verifying payroll information against offer letters, comp change letters, 401k selections, ESPP selections, and benefits selections. Help maintain the payroll models to make sure payroll data is processed accurately and completely
  • Assist AP Supervisor with the accounts payable operations, including management of AP inbox, vendor onboarding and vendor inquiries
  • Assist with monthly Provider payments, including validating payment records, processing reimbursements and maintaining vendor records
  • Assist with the month-end close process, including completing account reconciliations and preparing/posting manual journal entries, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Review the work performed by the outsourced offshore accounting team and prepare new training instructions for the outsourced accounting team as needed
  • Enhance accounting operations procedures to adhere to the public company Sarbanes-Oxley Act control requirements
  • Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects and resolve issues arising from daily accounting operations processes
  • Take ownership and initiative for accounting operation process improvements and process documentation
